Like others across the Nation\, we are closely monitoring the evolving situation. \nOn March 12\, Governor Wolf directed that events of 250 people or more should be cancelled or postponed. Although events at PCC are usually less than 250 individuals\, we are concerned for the safety of staff\, members and patrons using our spaces regardless of the size of the gathering.  We take pride in the maintenance of our facility and have increased efforts with housekeeping and scheduling for added protection. If you purchased tickets they will be honored for the rescheduled concert. If the performance is cancelled or you cannot make the new date you will be given the following options:\n\napply your tickets to a future performance\nbecome a Patron of the Clef Club by donating your tickets\, or\nrequest a refund.\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nDue to the fluidity of the COVID-19 pandemic\, the PCC will revisit these decisions and address events scheduled later in the year as more information becomes available.  Visit us at clefclubofjazz.org for updates and additional information. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Reut Regev's R*time-POSTPONED
DESCRIPTION:PNC Arts Alive presents “Jazz Cultural Voices.”  The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts has received this very prestigious grant award.  Just over 30 organizations in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region were selected for bold thinking around increasing arts access and engagement and “Jazz Cultural Voices” was one. \nIsraeli born and raised trombonist Reut Regev has been out in the New York scene creating and exploring music for over 20 years. Reut enjoys playing with some of the most influential experimental composers\, New York style bands blending styles and cultures\, and traditional sounds as well. Reut’s typical year includes some free improvisation\, contemporary compositions\, blues\, klezmer\, latin music\, straight ahead jazz\, and everything in between. She has recorded and toured with Anthony Braxton\, Butch Morris\, Elliott Sharp\, Burton Greene\, Hazmat Modine\, Metropolitan Klezmer\, Joe Battan\, and many more. \nDan Blacksberg’s Name of the Sea concert \nFrom the landmark experimental music venue Roulette to the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival\, Philadelphia-native Dan Blacksberg has created a singular musical voice as a trombonist\, composer\, and educator. Acknowledged as the foremost practitioner of klezmer trombone in its traditional and modern forms and a respected voice in experimental music\, Dan is known for a formidable virtuosity and extreme versatility. This has led to performances with artists such klezmer masters Elaine Hoffman Watts\, Adrienne Cooper\, Michael Winograd and Frank London to experimentalists like George Lewis\, Anthony Braxton\, Marshall Allen\, and extreme doom metal band The Body\, to being a featured jazz soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.
