SUMMARY:“Lets Dance”  Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Featuring: Melissa Talley-Palmer \nMelissa Talley-Palmer\, a two time Leeway Foundation grantee winner and social dance advocate will present “Let’s Dance\,” a workshop consisting of Bop and Cha Cha and line dance instruction focused on preserving the history and culture of dance in our communities. The dance instruction will include music made popular on the social dance scenes from the 1950’s until today. \nThe workshops are intergenerational and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring their children\, grandchildren and significant others. No partner required. Through this workshop we will continue to pass along the history of dance in our communities.\nRSVP at talleypalmer@gmail.com.
