Percussionist Edgardo Cintron is a second-generation Puerto Rican and a second-generation musician. Known as much for his affable personality and generous spirit as for his tasty musicianship, Edgardo has created his new band mambo magic in 2023 featuring the music of the great Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Eddie Palmieri, Spyro Gyra and more. 

The Mambo Magic band features some of the most prolific musicians in the area including Dr. Don Collins (Trombone), John Katz (Tenor Sax), Bob Ferguson (Trumpet), Alex Figueroa and Hector Rios (Congas), Freddy Martin (Piano), Bobby Cabanas (Bass) and lead Vocalist Cuquito de la Salsa, directly from Puerto Rico. 

Edgardo has put together a few high-powered Latin bands including: Tiempo Noventa in the 80’s and the 90’s, and the band Cintron, which performed at festivals around the country and the Caribbean for over 22 years. Cintron’s hit song, Suavecito on the universal Record label, has already received over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
