Join the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, in partnership with the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts, as they celebrate this landmark season with a variety of programs exploring the art of improvisation spanning the 17^th through 21^st centuries. It will illuminate the immensely varied and colorful musical trajectory which supplied an essential framework for the birth of jazz, as well as the myriad links between jazz and classical music. The season will culminate with the premiere of a new work by Chamber Orchestra’s Steven R. Gerber, Composer-in-Residence; Adam Vidiksis; and featuring musicians from the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz.
